Andrew M. Eads is a general practice attorney with our firm, practicing in such areas as criminal law, civil law, family law (divorce, child custody, child support), adoptions, estate planning (Wills, trusts, probate, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills) and whatever else walks in the door. Andy serves as a public defender in both Rush and Shelby counties representing those persons who cannot otherwise afford an attorney.

Andy helps and assists his clients navigate the complexities within the law with understanding and compassion. Andy is a zealous advocate and fights to ensure his clients are properly represented in all stages of their case.

Andy graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1990, from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1994 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, and from the Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1999. After graduating from law school and passing the Indiana State Bar Exam in 2000, Andy returned to his roots and began practicing law in his hometown of Shelbyville.

Outside of work, Andy has been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Shelby County, serving as a past President; current board member of Family Services and Prevention Programs; current member of the Shelby County Community Corrections Advisory Board; and attorney for Shelby County Meals on Wheels.
